The Girl With The Most Cake

I made the mistake of going into Lush with no money yesterday, and ever since I have been dreaming of smelling like an angel, and feeling as soft as a blanket. So I put together this little wish list of things I found in the store yesterday, and will almost definitely be going back for when my student loan is finally sorted!

Ok, so I have 100% dropped the ball with this blog, but I'm happy to say, I think I'm back! I've got a few, hopefully interesting, posts in the pipeline, and I'm aware no one even reads this anymore, but I just wanted to post this so that I can't back out!

So, a little update on what I've been up to;

I officially live and study in Cardiff. You may or may not remember that last year I was in Plymouth, but after a lot of thought and back and for, I decided to make the move a little closer to the nest. It's been really great living in such a vibrant and exciting city, and I can't wait for my student loan to be sorted out so that I can finally start enjoying it a bit more!

My new course has been good so far, we haven't really delved into much yet, it's all been briefs and just starting stuff ect, but I can't wait to get creating some awesome work. We're off on a trip to London Friday which will be awesome, so you can expect a little post up on that sometime next week.

I have access to a good camera now thanks to my awesome boyfriend who is letting me borrow his as long as he doesn't need it! So hopefully my blog posts will be much more aesthetically pleasing, and I can start doing some photography based work as well.

I hope you all didn't miss me too much!

I am so sorry about the lack of posts this month! I've had a lot of uni work, and I have also been struggling with decisions about what to do next year. I have finally made the decision to transfer to Cardiff! I'll be closer to home, and I've always loved the city. I've made some great friends in Plymouth and I will definitely miss everyone a ton, but I will just have to visit!

Now onto the actual blog post, I got my hair cut! I have very very long hair, so hair cuts aren't really a regular occurrence for me, but I really wanted a grown out fringe style bangs (think Alexa Chung), so I made an appointment.

I went to a really lovely place called Arena creative hair in Plymouth, and all first time visitors get 20% off, so that was great! This is actually the first time I've ever paid for my own haircut!
I am so happy with the results....



I got used to how it looks really quickly, and I think that's a good sign. It just makes it look like there's some shape to my hair! A new hair cute really does get you excited about hair again, and also I was desperate to go out so I could show people!

Hello! So, I'm very sorry I haven't written in a while, there's about a million things on my to do list at the moment and some how my blog slipped to the bottom. Sorry!
Anyway, here is my first attempt at a review. Now, I am definitely NOT a beauty blogger, or even someone who's majorly interested in make up. I never wear foundation or concealer, but I do love a good lippy when I'm trying to impress. I've been desperate for the limecrime velvetines lip gloss/stick for a long time, and while lustily reading reviews someone mentioned an MUA version, that did pretty much the same thing.
If you don't know, MUA is a brand that is sold exclusively in Superdrug, and I'm not going to lie, I don't have much experience with it. But, off I trotted to Superdrug, armed with the measly £3(!!) needed to buy myself a matte lip gloss/stick.
Unfortunately the Superdrug in question didn't stock the full range, so I was limited to three colour choices. I went for the reddest on offer, because I knew that was always a fail safe lip colour, and I could come back and experiment if I liked the results. It was when I got home and tried to wash all the tester samples off, that I realised this was going to be hell to remove. One sore hand later, I got to it!

The application was super smooth, just like putting on lip gloss. But, you need to make sure you're accurate, as, like I said, it's hard to get off. So then it dried, and I was super happy with the
result! It has a lovely matte finish, and I was really happy with it aesthetically.

As anyone who's ever been in my room will know, I am secretly a massive 5 year old girl. Cat's and princesses adorn every shelf, and there is a lot of pink. So, as I am very proud of my ornament collection, I thought I'd share some of it with you! And yes, this is just some! I left a lot of stuff back at home, and my mums been buying me even more while I've been away, so I'm turning into a proper hoarder!
